Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei (The Tatami World) OP , ED and Nakamura-sensei's art

The crazy trip has begun. Subtitles will soon be out; I mean I saw that there'll be a release from you tube by a not so well-known group...won't more serious groups follow? It's Yuusa in the cockseat after all...

Nice pop songs, yet the animation is weird...well it's Yuasa...But I liked Kaiba's opening much much better.
The opening is by KUNG FU ASIA, the band for which Nakamura-sensei has designed many covers.

Let's take a look at some of Nakamura's works. There's plenty of surrealism, a variety of colours, pastels and vivid, some black and white and a feel of pop art. Girls are the stars of his artworks. Some of them get naughty, so if you're bothered, don't scroll further. He has experimented with a few techniques (collagesque) and seems like he was featured in some advertisements and he has tried making manga. Click to get the full images.

(Today, I couldn't get to put the images the way I wanted...blogger did its own tricks...anyway...)

  1. I liked the ED, but I agree, Kaiba OP is much better - one of the best OP ever.

That's a nice collection of Nakamura's work :) It must have been not easy to find these pictures.

This is the only anime I'll follow this season.
