The Phantoms of the Brain by richworks on deviantart

The title of the artwork refers to The Phantoms of the Brain . It appears to be a very stimulating read; I'm going to buy it when the chance is given.

For the time being I've got some enlightening videos posted here.

The divided brain

The RSA talk explains how our 'activities' like language, reason, emotion etc aren't executed completely in only one hemisphere. It also talks bout the which hemisphere our culture nowadays represents and the need to find the balance.

The following BBC documentary discusses the topic of 'female' and 'male' brain and pinpoints the perplexity of the topic. Our biological sex doesn't dictate that our brain is solely 'of that sex'. Individual differences are quite important. The deciding factor here is testosterone released in the amniac sack in different quantities each month.
