That moment -as if a miracle has just happened- when the female body brings forth complex and subtle curves, when light and shadow duel, when meat and bones dance in competition... in that moment, I wonder, "what in the world was I looking at before?"

Millions of Americans wear purple on Spirit Day as a sign of support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth and to speak out against bullying. Spirit Day was started in 2010 by teenager Brittany McMillan as a response to the young people who had taken their own lives. Observed annually on October 20, individuals, schools, organizations, corporations, media professionals and celebrities wear purple, which symbolizes spirit on the rainbow flag. Getting involved is easy -- participants are asked to simply "go purple" on October 20 as we work to create a world in which LGBT teens are celebrated and accepted for who they are. ~ glaad
American or not, let's wear purple today and show support.
The whole October is celebrated as LGBT month, with highlights on 11th, the coming out day and the 20th, the Spirit Day. We couldn't make it in time for the coming out day, so at least today we wanted to show some support with some songs and talks.
The world is opening up. Young people who committed suicides this year as well as the last have shocked the world and activism for LGBT never was so strong and profound. We want to say our condelensces to the families who lost their child and at the same time it's important to stress to the other queer children, not just gays and lesbians, out there that the sacrifices, the deaths of these people shouldn't go in vain. You must show them you are stronger, that we can win this bet. Projects and organisations have spread their influence with many campaigns: It gets better (now) by Dan Savage, Make it better by gsa network, Gay-Straight Alliances by GLSEN, Some people are gay- get over it! by Stonewall , The Trevor Project, Give a Damn! and so many others try to offer help and comfort for the ones in pain. It's not easy to be scared to live day by day, but in today's world where internet is almost everywhere, people can find a helping hand and a light of hope.
We promise, here from the beautiful world, Kitsune and Neko, that we are going to dedicate in the future some of our time studying LGBTQ history and promoting arguments against homo/ transphobia. But right now, we'll just become another voice to make the message louder!
